Script remote assistance windows xp

When i accept the session on the remote machine its working perfectly. The only thing is the acceptance is still there.. Is the uac. Make sure you use psexec not paexec. I couldn't get paexec to work. Hi, When I click connect then offering remote assistance window comes up and after short time window pops up "Your offer to hlp could not be completed either remote assistance is undable to find the remote computer or you do not have permissions to connect to the remote permissions".

I am connecting through my admin account. Sounds like you don't have permission, are you on a domain? Is the "offer remote assistance" group policy enabled?

After downloads you are the first person to say this. I can assure you there are no viruses, I build the program myself. Obviously webroot sucks. Permissions error or network error pops up even though, I'm a domain admin and I'm logged into both machines of which I'm also a local administrator obviously. Something is missing here, not sure what but I have all the dependency files and have adjusted the script and the file paths are correct. I even adjusted the case in the script, which may or may not effect the script, but you should always have everything case specific just in case.

By default all of the PS are a mix of upper and lower, for instance the folder name is PsTools, not pstools. Even after those corrections it still won't work. Any other suggestions for something similar here? Can you tell at what point? Can you try manually copying that file and see if it works? If it doesn't work even manually doing so then in the "Remote Assistance - Win7.

I am almost positive this is where it's failing since I think by default Windows 7 has some additional restrictions in place that prevent you from copying a file remotely to the root of the C drive. The copy command by itself might not be able to write it correctly. I think this part works fine for me since there are some additional GPO's in place.

Also when you say you cannot connect to the XP box that might be something totally different? I got it to work! ReadAll objFile.
