I did not put on the rear track bar axle bracket. After taking the oem track bar off and seeing what was involved with mounting that contraption drilling two new holes in the oem axle bracket , I decided to leave the oem setup alone.
In hindsight, seeing as how the net lift was actually less than the BB, which doesn't use a track bar bracket, it will be fine.
I would, however, like to center the rear axle a bit better, so the hunt for an adjustable rear track bar is on. I would appreciate input on whose version works best! All in all, very pleased with the results. An adjustable rear track bar will complete the suspension project. Reactions: StG58 and Chris. Chris Administrator Staff Member. Ride of the Month Winner. Have you driven it yet? If so, how do you like the ride? Chris said:. Reactions: Chris. And at least you're avoiding control arms, pinion angles, yada, yada That's an entirely different mess altogether.
Another thing I found out was the Rancho shocks I bought to work with my BB ended up being exactly the same collapsed and extended lengths as the OME shocks Maybe someone needs a set of new 1. That works out nicely! Someone will probably want to pick those up. Rancho makes a nice shock. Although the net lift in the back was slightly less than with the BB, it still is plenty for the 32" tires I have, and the TJ has a bit of rake still.
A great set of coil springs is useless unless you have a set of shocks to control them. The Fox 2. The IFP internal floating piston design keeps the high-performance shock oil separated from the psi nitrogen gas charge.
This separation provided by the IFP eliminates oil aeration, to allow longer fade-free dampening performance. We took the time to recreate the idea of a control arm bracket that not only flattens the front control arm angles and corrects alignment, but meets JKS high standards as a durable, high quality component that can take a beating off road.
The draglink flip kit levels the draglink, completely eliminating any hint of bump steer and has a clean, easy installation with an OEM fit and finish. The Fox Adventure Series shocks provide a quality ride and complete control no matter what terrain you tackle. No additional components are required to create a well-mannered Jeep that can handle the daily commute as well as it handles the trails.

The OME system is a sensible lift height designed for maximum highway comfort and excellent offroadability. Another great benefit of the OME suspensions is that the spring rate is tailored to your vehicle.
One spring does not fit all, and OME understands this. This is why there is a choice of springs for guys running a 6 cyl engine up front, heavy winch bar, hard top, soft top, oversized spare tire, etc. OME also builds their shocks specific to each vehicle. Its not a shock designed for a full size pickup truck that cross-references to your vehicle as well.
It is built for the specific weight and suspension geometry of your vehicle for a comfortable ride on and offroad.
