Resolved my issue. Clear instructions. Easy to follow. No jargon. Pictures helped. Please keep us posted. Hi, I've just turned my laptop back on after an update today of course, the update had come as a surprise to me when I'd hoped to quickly turn my laptop off earlier. After a lengthy turn-on and everything going slower than usual, a notification popped up to say I'd had an update and to click for further information about it.

I always do click these just to try and get some idea of what might have changed. However, when Update History now comes up it simply says 'No updates have been installed yet. Can someone from Microsoft explain this please? Apparently, my laptop is up-to-date but why has the history been wiped? Or have the updates been wiped too? Is my laptop safe? Who really knows? Please Microsoft, stop messing things when up when you rush out updates. This thread is locked. You can follow the question or vote as helpful, but you cannot reply to this thread.
